Programmatic audio advertising delivery across all channels in real time

With the founding of the AIREAL Group, an audio AdTech platform for programmatic convergent audio marketing is being created in Hamburg. Founding managing director Markus Adomeit successfully brings together the expertise of performance-relevant companies from the fields of streaming, ad server technology and data management under the umbrella company founded in May.

In future, the AIREAL Group will be the first provider to offer a convergent overall solution that enables publishers to make their inventories available to the market in the best possible way, regardless of the system.

"The radio industry in particular is still working with good, but somewhat outdated technologies. There has been no real digitization of the radio house so far," says Adomeit. "It was particularly important to us to create solutions not only for streaming services, but also for traditional broadcasting with FM/DAB+. The focus of our systems is to make all of a publisher's inventory available in a convergent and programmatic way. And that is exactly what we have achieved. The individual components we developed work excellently and performed incredibly well in the stress test as a functioning overall system. I am very proud of my teams."

By successfully combining its own modules with standard market systems, the AIREAL Group is creating a programmatically convergent AdTech platform to which the first publishers are already being connected. In future, publishers will be able to provide their advertising customers with completely new and qualitatively enhanced audio inventory, while agencies and advertising customers will benefit from programmatic campaign targeting developed for audio.

"Our ad servers have been in test operation since last year and are gaining experience in several European countries. The necessary dashboards and our own first-party DMP are ready and programmatic ad delivery for FM, DAB+ and IP is in the starting blocks," continues Adomeit.
